Dear Hydraians,

Please be informed the Official House meeting will be held next week Wednesday, 14th April at the LT2 at 6.30 pm. It is compulsory for all Hydra House members still studying in IMU BJ to attend.

We will be electing a new committee on that day, including the core committee and sports captains/reps. To the new members, you should also be receiving your t-shirts on that day.

Please also try to be punctual as we aim to start on time (hence allowing you to finish faster) :D

See you there! J

Cheers,

Important : Information for Potential Candidates (for Captain)
Tuesday, April 06, 2010 | Author: [J].[L]

Dear Hydraians,
It has been some time since our first IMU CUP back in 2009 where we achieved victory – getting first placing overall. I extend my heartiest congratulations and sincere thanks to all for participating and helping out either directly or indirectly. The victory is therefore dedicated to all of you! J
We will be having our OHM (Official House Meeting) soon (so watch out for an email or the update on notice boards!)… The meeting is compulsory for all Hydra House members. (Those still at IMU BJ).
As we thank our seniors who have left, now is the time for a new committee to step up and helm the new taskforce this year. Hence, here I ask for those of you who are interested to run for the position as Hydra House Captain 2010/2011 (only the position of House Captain) to please send me your resumes /CV by this coming Wednesday (7th April). These people will present themselves and their CV’s during the OHM where the members will decide who to vote as house captain.
A few things to note as you mull running for House Captain –
- This position is open to all faculties alike. (The deputy house captain will be from a different faculty)
The potential candidate must still be engaged in full time studies in IMU BJ campus during the course of the IMUCUP (i.e. the student must still be in a course of an academic semester during the IMUCUP period)
The candidate must also be fully present during the course of IMUCUP and also the months leading up to the preparation of IMUCUP (including meetings with IMUCUP committee and also with various other organizing personnel such as SRC sports rep and so on) Therefore, full attendance for all IMUCUP matters are compulsory for House Captain.
- It will be best if you could think of and present your ideas on how you plan to lead Hydra in both your CV and your presentation during the OHM.
I would also greatly appreciate it if you could also submit a hardcopy of your CV to me personally.
Any queries please direct them to the email hydrahouse@gmail.com or message me (details in the I drive under Hydra House Core Committee document).
I await your CV’s =)

“Fortitudo, Amicitia Et Virtus”

Cheers,
Joanne Lee
