IMU Cup Fever Begins

The IMU CUP FEVER is here, again!

For those that are new to this term of event, IMU Cup is generally an Annual IMU Sporting event that goes on for over a month that requires all the Houses in IMU (Taurus, Phoenix, Gryffindor Griffin, Draco, Pegasus and Hydra) to compete against each other in 26 different sports for the coveted IMU Cup.

IMU Cup was established many years ago in the 90s, but it was always among batches (e.g. Medical, Pharmacy). But since 2009, the Houses arose... and the competition between 'em begun.

Hydra, I'm happy to reminisce, was the first Overall Champions under the new House system! : )

And for the year next, i.e., IMU Cup 2010, Taurus emerged top. (A job well done by the whole Taurus House, I witnessed it myself)


And the IMU Cup 2011, this year, will soon be activated on the 22nd of August 2011...



To simplify, it's the Olympics of IMU and dare I say, most probably as grandful as the FIFA World Cup... for IMU Students anyways :-)
