As guaranteed, these are the Terms and Conditions for the IMU Seremban Students' Participation for the IMU Cup.

A big thankyou has to go out to our very own Joanne Chiew (also IMU SRC Sports Rep) for the written version of this, and this is also available elsewhere... including:

i) imusrc.blogspot.com

ii) IMU HYDRA HOUSE (Facebook page)

iii) IMU Cup Board at Ground Floor IMU escalator

Terms and Conditions of IMU Seremban Student Participation:

1) HOUSE JUMPING

- All house captains must ensure that Seremban players (as well as Bukit Jalil players) are from their ORIGINAL house. House captains are held solely responsible in monitoring this, and ensuring all his/her players are from the same house. They are to reject any player who requests to join the respective house if they do not originate from there. Should the player’s ID not have the House stated, please refer to the SRC Sports Representative.

- HEAVY PENALTIES (a deduction of 20 points) will be issued upon the discovery of any cases of house jumping that has occurred in any house. The same penalty applies to Bukit Jalil students.

- All event captains of each house must submit a list of players, including reserves, of all the selected players from the fair trials conducted for that respective sport one week prior to the event day of the sport. This list is to be submitted to the respective Games Coordinators of the IMU Cup Committee in charge of the sports event. This is to enable cross checking of all the players to ensure the ones that play have been properly selected, and are not a sudden substitute of another player, unless a player has had a serious injury or certified liable excuse.

2) FAIR TRIALS AND SELECTION

- House Captains must at all costs approach juniors from any new intakes for recruitment and to introduce training sessions to them. Once a student of IMU, each student immediately has the right to be kept updated of any training of any sport in case they are interested in participating.

- Each house must hold a fair trial for each sport among those interested and attend trainings when selecting the players (Seremban and Bukit Jalil) on the day of the competition. NO PRESELECTIONS ARE ALLOWED whereby a player even though better, or deemed more experienced automatically gains entry into the team before anyone else does.

- For track and field as well as swimming and road relay, as far as possible, run and swim times are to be submitted in the same document as the list of players selected to play for that event.

- Priorities in play are given firstly to Bukit Jalil students, followed by Seremban students.

3) TRAINING SESSIONS

- All Seremban students have to attend training sessions conducted by the event captains regularly to show their commitment and to avoid any dispute among Bukit Jalil students should they be suddenly selected even in the fair trials without training. By attending the training sessions it is also a good chance for them to interact and know the new Bukit Jalil students participating.

- Seremban students are not allowed to miss classes for trainings.

- Attendance of all players are to be noted by the event captains during trainings to prove commitment. Eg) students with more than 3 absent sessions are given a lower priority than those who attended all training sessions without fail.

4) PUNCTUALITY ON COMPETITION DAY

- All players are to be punctual for their sports event on the day of the competition. This includes the Seremban players who will have to ensure that they are early for the event so that the matches is not delayed. Please refer to Clause 5.3.

- Players are allowed a grace period of 15 minutes before being disqualified from the match.

- Teams are allowed to recruit substitutes or reserves within this 15 minute time frame.

- Each team is required to have sufficient players before starting a game.

5) MAXIMUM NUMBER OF EVENTS A PLAYER CAN JOIN (TRACK AND FIELD, SWIMMING)
- This issue is to be referred to the Rules and Regulations of Track and Field and Swimming. A player is not allowed to join more than the stated number of events in order to give chances to the other players.

The number of Seremban players per sport will be limited to allow greater participation of IMU Bukit Jalil students.
For sports requiring less than 8 players on the field (1 – 7 players), limit: 1 on the field at any point in time
For sports requiring more than 8 players on the field (≥ 8), limit: 2 on the field at any point in time

With this, I thankyou all for your time if you're READING this here...
